Nothing fancy about this posting. No words of wisdom. No wowing you with my writing style. No freaking you out with bugs…just pictures, lots of pictures.
Spent Sunday on a Roatan Island, East End Tour with good friends,
Enjoy!
Hey Gen!
This east end thing looks so nice! Dennis and I will be out there in about four weeks. Sept.4-18th Can’t wait to be back, We are planning to spend some good times with you guys. Put us on the calendar OK??? I will get in touch when we are settled in. I have been following your You tube stuff as well. Love to Dave and Mona! Pam
I loved seeing these pics of the east end. A few years ago my wife & I were staying in Milton Bight, and took a trip out to Camp Bay. Once we got to the end of the road (near La Sirena), I noticed that our tires had sunk into the sand about halfway up the tire…..we were stuck. No less than ten minutes later, much to our surprise, three couples (3 men & 3 women) come walking down the road. They had hiked over from Port Royal to check out Camp Bay for a bit and helped us get “unstuck”. We shared a few drinks with them at La Sirena, and enjoyed our good fortune. As you know, there isn’t alot of traffic out that way. Love the blog…..keep up the good work. Tuacamo Steve
I love this story Steve, thank you for sharing it! An excellent example of the “the Global Community” coming together on Roatan.
The East End of the Island has a magic and beauty of its own, and at times you can feel like you are on a deserted Island…glad that wasn’t the case the day you got stuck in the sand!
